Happy Monday folks! Hope everyone had a great holiday! We know we did! Join the crew as they go through 2022 and some of the games they played. It's about time for us to start putting together Game of the Year lists too! The number of games we talk about is a bit too long to list, so you'll just have to listen in! Also! Ryan and Tech got to go screen M3gan this week and Ryan gives us his quick review! Spoiler alert...he loved it!

Come hang out with the NerdyBits Show crew once again as we talk about nerdy, pop culture stuff! There was a big Comic Con in Sao Paolo that landed us a ton of trailers, so of course we dig into Indiana Jones, Transformers, and Guardians trailers. Ben shares a bit of beef about AC: Odyssey and its unfortunate DLC teasing, we all discuss whether or not we should care about "liking" things as much as we do, Gotham Knights might actually be great, and is Thor: Love and Thunder a kids movie?

If you can endure a little ASMR food-chewing noises (sorry about that) come hang out with us as we talk about a ton of cool stuff. From Black Panther to Call of Duty to Somerville! First we dig into the troubling news from Mick Gordon and the disagreeable circumstances of the Doom: Eternal score, then we talk about the downfall(?) of Twitter, Kevin Conroy’s passing, Pentiment and its setting, Game Pass enabling unique and niche projects, and we talk a bit about our experience with Gunfire Reborn.

How ‘bout a little late Halloween talk? Ben is insistent that St. Louis has weird Halloween traditions, we define puddles for a minute, and then we get into game talk. Of course, what is an episode of The NerdyBits Show without a little complaining that there isn’t enough co-op games? Ben and Caleb dig into their experience with Gotham Knights, which they have had a lot of fun with, Caleb gushes about the Call of Duty campaign, we talk a little more Overwatch 2, and we bitch about troll-pirates in Sea of Thieves.

We’re baaaack, with a ton of content. This is the first of three backlogged episodes that are gonna come out this holiday week due to technological and situational kerfuffles. Sorry about that! Come hang out with us as we chat about Overwatch and its “relaunch(?)”, Marauders and Ben’s first foray into hardcore Extraction shooters, look forward to upcoming releases like: Chivalry 2, Scorn, A Plague Tale: Requiem, and many others!

Bit of a catch all episode this time as the crew talks across a bunch of topics. First a debate about Remakes and Remasters, then we dig into the meat of the episode, "Broken Games." There is a lot of conversation in the wild about the state of AAA game releases and their bugginess. The crew shares their opinions on the matter. Then we talk the limited fall releases, and wrap up with a chat about She-Hulk and Andor.

There was a big Call of Duty event last month and the crew took the time to sit down and talk about the worlds biggest franchise and their feelings about the upcoming title. Caleb debates whether or not the gun-porn is bad for our brains, Ryan runs through the announcements at Call of Duty NEXT, and Ben debates getting back into Warzone upon learning it will have extraction objectives.

Come hang with the crew as they talk about their ongoing love affair with Hunt: Showdown, the PvPvE title developed by Crytek, and we deep dive all the things announced at Gamescom. Caleb has also played and finished South of the Circle, a beautiful narrative adventure with a wobbly ending. We also take a deep dive on the importance of setting time aside to pursue passions, and whether or not framing that process as sacrifice is the right approach.
