There was a big Comic Con in Sao Paolo that landed us a ton of trailers, so of course we dig into Indiana Jones, Transformers, and Guardians trailers. Ben shares a bit of beef about AC: Odyssey and its unfortunate DLC teasing, we all discuss whether or not we should care about "liking" things as much as we do, Gotham Knights might actually be great, and is Thor: Love and Thunder a kids movie?

Bit of a catch all episode this time as the crew talks across a bunch of topics. First a debate about Remakes and Remasters, then we dig into the meat of the episode, "Broken Games." There is a lot of conversation in the wild about the state of AAA game releases and their bugginess. The crew shares their opinions on the matter. Then we talk the limited fall releases, and wrap up with a chat about She-Hulk and Andor.

There was a big Call of Duty event last month and the crew took the time to sit down and talk about the worlds biggest franchise and their feelings about the upcoming title. Caleb debates whether or not the gun-porn is bad for our brains, Ryan runs through the announcements at Call of Duty NEXT, and Ben debates getting back into Warzone upon learning it will have extraction objectives.

Come hang with the crew as they talk about their ongoing love affair with Hunt: Showdown, the PvPvE title developed by Crytek, and we deep dive all the things announced at Gamescom. Caleb has also played and finished South of the Circle, a beautiful narrative adventure with a wobbly ending. We also take a deep dive on the importance of setting time aside to pursue passions, and whether or not framing that process as sacrifice is the right approach.

The last few years have been marred by fractured releases and inconsistent support as teams restructure. Happy Monday folks! Ben was busy living it up in San Diego for Comic-Con so Caleb and Ryan sat down to chat about what they have been up to. Caleb has dipped his toes in Dodgeball Academia and continues to adore Guardians of the Galaxy. Ryan is living his best life in The Hunt and together the two jumped into Ground Branch, an early access tactical shooter made by OG Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon devs

We talk about getting back into The Hunt, a deviously fun battle royale/monster hunting game. We also crack into some Guardians of the Galaxy, continue to talk about Battlefield, both V and 2042, some Doctor Strange talk, and some other things!
