Episode 060: The Game Awards, and Stuff
This one is a backlogger. Sorry. Caleb and Ryan got together and recorded back in December. We complain a bit about how bad the Xbox mobile app is, dig into the GTA VI trailer, Caleb gushes for a bit about Spider-Man 2, and then we go through the Game Awards and our thoughts, including how sad we are that E3 is officially dead.
Episode 056: Gamescom and Demons
This one is a backlogger from August. We recorded inside, because it was hot as hell, so we talk more softly. Making all of us kinda sound high. Sorry about that! Come hang as we dig into some Gamescom stuff, slip back into lamenting the absence of our "career game", and we talk a bit about Diablo 4 and Caleb's falling off of it.
Episode 054: Clearing the Backlog, Slowly...
What's up folks! Long time! Couple of vacations in the books and things are getting back to normal finally! With that, come hang out with us as we catch you up on what we have been playing! Ben has beaten Lana, Ryan has beaten Dredge, Caleb has been playing Showgunners, we chat a bit about Phantom Brigade. There's a bunch in here, so come hang out!
Episode 053: E3 Wrap Up (Late Upload)
Sorry for the delay of game everyone. Crazy few weeks of stuff at the house and all around, really. Come hang with the crew as they discuss all the stuff that happened at E3. We talk about our favorites, we express our disappointment with Keighley's somewhat lackluster SGF showcase. All in all though, we enjoyed all the game news and can't wait for the rest of the year to play out!
Episode 051: Oops no GOTY!
Happy Friday folks! So we dropped the ball a bit on finalizing our Game of the Year lists. It's tricky organizing the time to make sure you play as much as possible and put together a cohesive plan. Anyway, that day is coming. It is not this day. Today you can join the crew as they dig into more Hi-Fi Rush, which Ben and Caleb have finished, we also chat about the Xbox-Blizz/Acti buyout and PlayStation's strange and weak protestation. Ben has finished another Wolfenstein game, we are all tempting the beast that is Wild Hearts, we have returned to Astroneer in earnest, and we discuss the newest MCU film Quantumania.
Episode 050: So...Hi-Fi Rush Rules
Happy Wednesday folks! It has once again been a while since you heard from us. We've been busy! For the first time in ages we are actually going through our backlogs! Also, we were surprised by the release of Hi-Fi Rush, an amazing rhythm-based action game from Tango Gameworks. Ben has been trying to crack the surface of the Like a Dragon series and bounced off of Monster Hunter Rise, Caleb has been working through more Midnight Suns.
Episode 034: And We're Back!
Join the crew in their triumphant return after a month of moving, babies being born (congrats Ryan and fam) and tons of games and shows and nerd shit! Hang out while we dig into the new Halo show, Moon Knight, PlayStation's attempt at a Game Pass competitor, Sony's Morbius, and more! We are happy to back in business. Happy spring month, and get ready to dust off you backlogs!
Episode 24: Death's Door, 12 Minutes, and Rider's Republic
Happy Monday everyone! This week (technically last week?) on The NerdyBits Show the crew digs into all the games that are starting to come out as the fall approaches. Ryan Gets into some 12 Minutes, Ryan and Ben got to play the Rider’s Republic Beta, and Caleb started digging into Death’s Door, a slick dungeon crawler.
