Bounty Board 099: July Bounties
The whole crew got into so Friday the 13th, Caleb dug into Disintegration and came away with some interesting feedback. Ben grabbed Shipbreaker and logged some hours cutting down ships for cash. A new event in Apex, as well as the launch of Season 5, kept Tech’s nose to the grind. Ryan found his way back to PC and dabbled in some StarCraft, Halo Wars, and Command and Conquer. Everyone got something this month!
Bounty Board 098: Are Games Too Big?
The video game industry has had a rough week, which is is nothing when compared to the experiences that women are sharing. The industry has a LOT of room to improve. The crew takes a moment to talk about all of the allegations from the last week and express our support of the survivors. We must do better.
Bounty Board 097: Wannabe3
So we are a week into what can really only be called E3 2020, except this time it isn’t a single show, on a single week. We’re going to be getting video game news every week for the next month. But this begs the question: Do we really still need E3? IGN’s Summer of Gaming is well under way at this point, with a ton of announcements, segments, and interviews. We have already gotten the Escapist Indie Showcase, and 3 days of the Guerrilla Collective showing off indies.
Bounty Board 096: Summer of Gaming
It seems, even though our beloved E3 is on hiatus, games will always find a way. Here we are in the second week of June, and we suddenly have a TON of game news popping up! Most notably, IGN’s Summer of Games. A highly produced, well choreographed, online event showcasing new games coming later in 2020 or in the years following the next gen launch. It’s summer ya’ll! Time for game releases to slow down and game announcements to hit fever pitch!

First things first, we would like to say that NerdyBits stands with the black community in this trying time. NerdyBits stands with against systemic oppression, police brutality, and inequality in the United States and around the world. We are witnessing a truly tumultuous moment that will shape the future our kids and grandkids will see. It is important then, that we stand on the side of justice and equality, so that we may help that world come to be.
Bounty Board 094: Morality in Games
One more week means one more episode of your favorite video game podcast! This week, on Bounty Board, the crew digs into how morality plays out in games. It doesn’t have to be story mode to force players into moral conundrums. Do you kill stragglers in DayZ? Do you kill teammates in PUBG because they wronged you?
Bounty Board 093: Nostalgia
Can you believe May is almost over? As time slips past us, your favorite video game podcast is here to help pass the time with you. Speaking of time passing…what is with the rise in nostalgia as a marketing tool? Is it new or are we just now getting old enough to see it? A what about the string of Remakes and Remasters that the game industry is starting to see?
