Happy Friday! Everyone has seen the comment on Twitter, “Keep politics out of games.” But what does that even mean, really? What qualifies as “politics”? It is a question with nearly as many answers as their are days in a month, but nevertheless the crew sits down to talk through politics in games. Sometimes we think it is needed, sometimes it’s unnecessary, sometimes it’s done really poorly. Regardless, we are all able to acknowledge that games have been political since the beginning, and that it seems recent that people began to take umbrage with that fact.
